PROJECT SUMMARY:
Hudbay Minerals is a diversified Canadian mining company producing copper concentrate and zinc metal in its operating facilities located in Manitoba and Peru. It owns and operates three polymetallic mines, four ore concentrators and a zinc production facility.
Dynamo was awarded the opportunity to supply a 20’ sea container E-House to HudBay Minerals in Snow Lake, Manitoba.
The exterior of the container was painted using site-specific paint standards and the interior was framed with 2 x 3 spruce studs, insulated with 2 lb closed cell spray foam, and finished with fire-resistant paint over sanded plywood sheeting.

Dynamo was retained to complete the decommissioning and disposal of one (1) 20 MVA transformer, BU-410-TX-1 and one (1) high voltage oil circuit breaker, BU-410-TX-1-OCB at the Bethune Station and one (1) 20 MVA transformer, ZP-420-TX-2 at the Loreburn Station.
Dynamo was retained to fabricate, ship, and install a 9.6 m x 4.5 m control building for the Grenfell Substation. Drawings were supplied by Dynamo based on a preliminary design provided by SaskPower.
