Dynamo was retained as the owner’s engineer for their new Siemens GIS switchgear.  In addition to representing the owner on the project, Dynamo collaborated with Siemens to provide detailed engineering on a robust protection and control network utilizing IEC 61850.

Dynamo completed a design-build 138 kV substation as part of the Melt Shop expansion project at the Regina facility.  Deliverables included detailed engineering, installation of all piles, foundations, then fabrication and installation of structural steel, and steel pile caps.

As part of EVRAZ Regina’s SIF Project (which included a new 240 MVA, 138 kV Substation, twenty-four (24) sections of 15 kV GIS, two (2) 85 MVA Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) transformers, a new Static-VAR Compensator (SVC) system, and a protection and control system) Dynamo also provided a detailed HMI system that was customized for the client’s use.

Dynamo was retained to remove an existing Allen Bradley PLC 5 system and replace it with a new Allen Bradley Control Logix 5000.  All IFC drawings were created and supplied by the client.
