PROJECT SUMMARY:


Cargill, Inc. is an American privately held global food corporation based in Minnetonka, Minnesota.  It is the largest privately held corporation in the United States in terms of revenue. They are also one of Canada's largest grain handling companies and producers of food products such as vegetable oils and fats for application in processed foods and industrial use. 


Dynamo completed a design-build of a new 138 kV client-owned substation with a unique 138 kV underground transmission line designed to provide additional clearance for site operations. The scope also included the supply and assembly of a 138 kV – 25 kV, 10 MVA transformer, a 25 kV – 4160 V, 10 MVA transformer, as well as a new 25 kV underground distribution loop feed system complete with switchgear and a new protection control building.

Dynamo was retained to complete the decommissioning and disposal of one (1) 20 MVA transformer, BU-410-TX-1 and one (1) high voltage oil circuit breaker, BU-410-TX-1-OCB at the Bethune Station and one (1) 20 MVA transformer, ZP-420-TX-2 at the Loreburn Station.
